Hi All! I have 2x Acer S243HL 24" LED + 1x GTS 250 but I couldn't set it for Dual-Monitor any one have an idea how I can configure it ?
Ok it's impossible ? Damn I have 2x 24" LED for nothing then ... Any one know how I can set SoftTH then for hl2 ?
No one replies so it's impossible? Just wait a while, someone will reply eventually.
Does your card support eyefinity? (assuming you have an ATI card) There's also SoftTH. However, I'm not sure if you can do dual monitors, as it seems it was designed for 3.
Thanks for this info but I know for SoftTH there is why I is my 2nd post and I got an Nvidia Card " GTS 250 "
You can't without buying something like a Dualhead2go box but it's pretty pointless to play games on dual screens. The crosshair will be right where the screens join up. Also the performance will be halved from what you get with one screen.
On a GTS 250 no. On 2 monitors, why?
If you were to play games on multi monitors, i'd say it is best to get 3 Screens, then you have the crosshair in the centre monitor and peripheral vision in the 2 side screens. There are a few videos around of people with this setup, it looks quite nice.
Try editing the startup properties and add "-w widthhere and -h heighthere" eg. "-w 3840 -h 1920" And try changing it to fake full-screen and such.

I think for deviceIDLeft=auto or deviceIDright=auto one of them needs to be -1.
It would be kind of cool if it was designed to support dual monitors, where one screen could be the Q menu always open.
