Hey everyone, So i've gotten my PC a little while ago.
And ever since i've just dealt with the minimum performance it has been pushing out.
Im trying to run crysis. On high im getting about 10 - 15 frames from what i've read i should be pushing out alot more on max graphics.
Specs?
- Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit
- Radeon HD 5970 4gig.
- AMD phenom quad core 3.40 GHZ
- 4GIG ram
If anymore details are needed, I may be able to assist, Im very computer illiterate.
But help would be greatly appreciated.

thats impossibly low for a 5970
sure thats not ur cpu temp?
[editline]15th February 2011[/editline]
my 5970 is 65c idle, with my air conditioning on
[editline]15th February 2011[/editline]
and 5970's aren't 4gb, they're 2
Try updating drivers, and what is your res?

And thats the legit temp.
My case has like... 6 fans and its watercooled.. ?
If thats anything important.
And resolution? 1920 X 1080
[editline]15th February 2011[/editline]
is there anything that should be enabled to make it run faster?
The only thing i've done is switch it do 1080p HDTV. and magically some games ran faster.
I can barely run everquest II for poop sakes.
well make sure catalyst AI is enabled
but even if it was disabled theres no way ur fps would be that low
[editline]15th February 2011[/editline]
install latest catalyst drivers/ccc
enable catalyst ai
see what that does

Im still under warrant with IBUYPOWER, So ill just send it back I guess.
Thanls for you're time!
Send it back, get a refund, build your own and save much $$$
Are the PCI-E 6 pin plugs in?
Make sure on the motherboard temperature monitor, its not on power saving mode.
How do I access that Eliminator,
And to Shadaez I have no idea what that is sorry.
Well for example I have ASUS. and it has this program called EPU
It can sometimes set the speed and power usage.
