Oh hai fp :D I was wondering if anyone had any idea on disassembling the SteelSeries Siberia headset headphones so I can try and fix the mic and the cable. Even a link to instructions would be greatly appreciated.

I dont give you much chance on getting that answer here.
Try their own site or google.
Sometimes they are glued and that means your screwed annyway.

I know it's not something you asked for but the warranty is 2 years in EU and 1 year in the US. It took a month for me to get it fixed, but I was a bit lazy in reacting so you can probably get it back in 2 weeks.

True. Problem is that I've had them for three years so.... Plus I was looking at painting them among other things so... thanks for the advice though. As for whether they're glued together or not, I'd assume they aren't glued seeing as it's kind of hard to get glue inside things with closed shells. They most likely use the sort of lock-tab thing most electronics use. I've managed to get like...3/4 of one of the earpieces off. The other one's screws don't want to come out. It's very frustrating...

-Press shell against earpiece
-done?
Anyways my logitech headset was glued and I had to cut it to get to the wires.
Alright so I got it apart, there were hidden screws under the padding on the cups. Where is a good place for me to upload a tut on how to take it apart?
