I'm not surprised, PS3 always has been more multimedia oriented then the other consoles
another great article from the Shacknewsfeed
I can't remember the last time that I used my PS3 to actually play a game.
Well yeah. The Netflix app for Xbox Live is fucking terrible(What were they thinking when they made that keyboard?) and the Wii one isn't as good as the PS3 one.

i was using my PS3 to watch Bones yesterday, since my 360 isn't hooked up to my Living Room TV.
360 also requires you to pay for gold to pay for netflix. so yeah hey this is obvious

I own all three systems and I've used Netflix on all 3. The Wii app sucks hands down. The PS3 app is second as it's navigation is clunky and slow. And Xbox wins but only barely as it too has problems I'd like to see fixed but is far more bearable than the other two systems. The only way PS3 can beat the Xbox is by the simple fact that because it's not as fun of a system for games people end up watching shows instead.
Then the WiiU comes and destroys all!
not to mention there aren't many exclusives for the xbox or really games you can't get for the PS3. i never bought a Wii cause i knew i'd never use it because its catalog sucks to be honest. my 360 is sitting around dusting because really the only thing it's good for is playing halo, and you need to pay for online service. my ps3 is fuckin awesome. i got a second gen one and i'm still using the shit out of it. i never understood the argument "well why don't you just pay the tiny 50 dollar fee every year?"... uh or i could get a system that's just as good that has free online service? the ps3 is the ultimate console to have hooked up to your TV in your computer room. makes multitasking amazing and camping, idling or anything else you'd be doing that doesn't require attention in a game much easier.
Netflix is so shitty on the Xbox. They made a really fucking stupid decision in one of the last updates where if you click on a TV or movie, it automatically starts playing it. You can't even read the full description/info or see more episodes of the TV show without it doing it and it's such a stupid idea.

Netflix on the Xbox has a better UI in general compared to the PS3 app, but that fucking KEYBOARD dear lord it is terrible
Uh, there are plenty of fun games on the PS3.. MGS4.. little big planet.. uncharted, have you heard of any of these?
Yea. I traded some of them in and the rest contribute to the system being a paper weight. Maybe it's just my tastes, but I hardly ever use my PS3 for games. I hate how with the PS3 Netflix, unless you already have a movie in mind, looking for something new is limited to the 75 or less movies they put in selection for each category. Other option is to search, but that doesn't help if you're looking for something you've never seen or heard of. I like regular Netflix better because of that. Have it on a internet connected Blu-ray player on the first floor of the house. My parents are always hogging it though, so my brother and I limited to the PS3 Netflix quite often. I prefer playing games over everything else, be it TV, movies, or internet, though.
Of course the PS3 is a large media platform. Free online, Blu-ray, and then there's of course the amount of games on the platform (none, since the PS3 has no games). But no, seriously. Can you hook up a Bluetooth keyboard to PS3? Because when Netflix finally came to Finland like a few months ago, I tested the 360 client. Fuck that keyboard.
This was obvious. With the 360 requiring Gold and the Wii lacking in HD output, the PS3 is the only way to watch Netflix in HD without any additional subscriptions.
I would use my ps3 but my TV happens to be one of those fancy smart tvs that has a built in NetFlix app.
