Ive lost all interest in the series after the 4th
wtf was that at the end it doesn't even look like it fits in the Halo series at all
It's just called Halo? The 60 FPS thing is nice though, I guess, hopefully we'll see more games pushing for 60 FPS this gen.
wtf was that at the end it doesn't even look like it fits in the Halo series at all
I somehow doubt you played 4.
It should be called Halo One.
I somehow doubt you played 4.
Nothing in Halo 4 looked like it belonged in Halo either.
wtf was that at the end it doesn't even look like it fits in the Halo series at all
Not exactly, it looked very Promethean considering the floating parts and orange color.
Jedi Master Chief fights a robot chicken
wtf was that at the end it doesn't even look like it fits in the Halo series at all
Looks like a forerunner design to me.
why is the wielder of a suit of tank-rated, energy-shielded, strength-augmenting power armor wearing a robe?
I do not know why they started off the article saying
You'll never guess what, right: Microsoft's making a new Halo game for the Xbox One. I know! The as-yet-unnamed game is due in 2014 and all we can safely say for certain is that it features some manner of colossal robot-space-angel. Sure, that'll do nicely.
It was announced with the last game that there was going to be a Halo 4,5,6 with them coming out 2012, 2014, and 2016.
Prometheans don't fit either.
Orange lights and unattached floating limbs with smaller unattached floating parts. It's not like promethean knights but it sure looks like promethean tech. To be fair prometheans don't look like much else in other halo games.
why is the wielder of a suit of tank-rated, energy-shielded, strength-augmenting power armor wearing a robe?
because it looks badass! But halo 4 multiplayer was utter garbage, let the numbers speak for themselves. Like it peaks at 25,000 people on a saturday night, no one likes halo 4 and i hope they fix it.
Why did they try to turn Halo into a real sci-fi?
Why did they try to turn Halo into a real sci-fi?
if by "real sci fi" you mean unintelligible shoehorned bullshit then the answer is $$$
Why would the prometheans make such a clunky piece of tech? That doesn't make any sense. The Didact in Halo 4 flew around in a giant fucking sphere, in here it's a bird/dragon? What purpose does that serve.
wtf why is he wearing this cape bullshit?
Why the fuck is a dude in badass marine power armor wearing a cloak?
The cape thing's bad, yes, but I'm mostly unhappy with the Halo 4-5 approach on Forerunners in general. The older games took a hugely monolithic feel towards them, now it just feels dumbed down. Also, that bird thing looks eerily similar to the music video to "My God Is The Sun" by QOTSA
Why the fuck is a dude in badass marine power armor wearing a cloak?
Keep sand out of joints and important bits. also would help to be incognito, and keep the sun off that fancy armor.
Keep sand out of joints and important bits. also would help to be incognito, and keep the sun off that fancy armor.
Booooooooo the MJOLNIR set never needed to be protected from the elements, or anything really, it was always THE protection. and if he wears it to be incognito, well, that's pretty stupid too if 343i makes it into a 'going rogue' plot
