This update is great, in a place where I used to get 42 FPS, I now get 47.

so is this game still horribly unoptimized like i can run the second encounter HD just fine at max settings but this game made my computer die and gave me crappy FPS even at really low settings.

I have to admit, this is a really fun to play game stays true to the original gameplay, 16 player coop, excellent graphics support and the one thing I really liked was the campaign was basically SS1 in reverse, I pretty much instantly recognized most of the locations from the first great to see the developer is pouring this much support into updating the game.

This game has a fucking insane amount of options in its video settings. Like I mean too much settings.

The biggest downside to SS3: reloading weapons. And those fuckin monkeys.

It may have been something that affected AMD/ATI users more often.
