Looking back, I noticed that most of my songs that were made with GP6 sounded really uninspired, so I tried to do something with the good old MIDI sound again.
Maybe sounding uninspired has to make with bad samples used in song? In songs with that other midi sound everything drowned into eachother and then just sound like noise you know but now song is clear in volume and tone and song is enjoyable to ear so maybe you just need to learn the making of mastering song if you want to still use old samples? :smile:

Maybe, but for now, I just like this sound more.
Plus I always concentrate more on songwriting than soundquality, so the basic MIDI is better for me.
but quality of sound is part of songwriting atleast i think so i mean getting the right tone on guitar is for me half the time spent on making song but maybe i am just special in that way, or if say making electronic then having right sound for parts in song like synths is really important so i think you are wrong in statement there or atleast you should think more of sound when writing songs right?

I think of sound, but I don't think too much about all the mastering stuff.
Sometimes raw music sounds better than over-mastered music.

Of course you didn't, never said you did.
I'm just saying that I'm using the original midi sound because it sounds better than most RSE's and soundfonts, since everything is clearer.
Of course, RSEs would sound better if I spent ours on mastering, but I just make music as a hobby, so I can't bother with that kind of stuff.
but if you want it to sound good you spend time on making music, imagine having song with samples that sounds like real thing people would go crazy and you could enjoy music even more when it sounds great :smile:
i mean you obviously want people to listen to youre music because you post it alot and im sure you want people to like it and also give help in making youre a better musicmaker so all this sound like lazy excuse for something if you understand :smile:

Seriously though, it is supposed to be a bit loud. Maybe its a little too loud, but oh well.
