I can see it now. EA/Dice announce Star Wars Battlefront 3.
All the fans cheer, and then the next press announcement Dice will go "It's the game you all love, but with our flair and gameplay style"
Don't get me wrong, it wouldn't be such a horrible thing if Battlefront had played like CoD or Battlefield, but it doesn't and that is partly why it was so loved.
Nevertheless, I'm going to remain somewhat optimistic.
This can be good or bad, one side is BF3 may get finished on the other hand it's EA.

If it's EA, I hope they at least take up Battlefront 3 and use cryengine. Frostbite 2 runs like crap on anything other than dx11.

I dont care if it has EA, Origin, 3 Copy DRM, and LOADS of DLC on it, I'm just excited to see what DICE is going to do with BFront3.

DX11 should run faster than DX9/10 at alot of things.

yeah, but still a lot of people don't have DX11. I still have a GeForce GTX 280, and not planning on upgrading soon.
This is very bad, wouldn't be so bad if EA wasn't publishing, though.
Not really related to the post, but I find it annoying how when something like this happens there's at least 3 threads on the same topic. At [i]least[/i] two news bots post it and then there's the SH thread. It gets annoying having so many redundant threads.

DICE aren't using Frostbite 2 any more, rather 3.
So your issues may be fixed with this new version, but I honestly think this new engine will be heavily-geared towards DX11 still.
Sweet,new Star Wars games, can't wait to see what they release first.

It never was 15$ A MONTH, it was 50 in 1 fee, then nothing else.

They already confirmed via twitter that the new games will use the Frostbite 3 engine and not be on Nintendo systems.

yeah i hate how these games that cause only a little bit of positive emotions in me just forcibly jam themselves in me and force me to play them and my dog died because of it
