A member of the White House household staff suffered an on-the-job injury Tuesday and may have lost some fingers.
"There was a minor injury with a member of the residence staff – an ambulance was called out of an abundance of caution," an administration official said.
A man was taken to a local hospital from the White House around 11 a.m., the Washington Post reported earlier in the day. D.C. Fire/EMS spokesman Lon Walls told the Post the man had a "possible amputation of one or two fingers."[/quote]
