All that article seems to Mention is that some Publishers didn't want to Publish it because of the Main Protagonist was a Female character, and not Male.
Currently, It appears to be Published by Capcom.

Would have been nice if Square Enix picked it up. After Tomb Raider I'm sure they wouldn't mind grabbing another female protagonist.
