I'm looking to get a gaming PC that could run graphic intense games such as BF3, Metro 2033, and Farcry 3 and could run future games on on med-max settings. I'm hoping it could last for a minimum for 2-3 years and my budget is $1400. I don't know much about PC building, but I need everything except a mouse, keyboard, monitor, and speakers (and maybe I could keep the motherboard if it's good enough/compatible). So I'd need things like the OS (I'd like Windows 7 64-bit). Around 8 gigs of DDR3 RAM too. Here's the specs of my (bad) current PC according to Speccy Operating System MS Windows XP Professional 32-bit SP3 CPU AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ 52 °C Windsor 90nm Technology RAM 2.0GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 373MHz (5-6-6-18) Motherboard Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. M61PME-S2P (Socket M2) Graphics L206W @ 1440x900 896MB GeForce GTX 275 (EVGA) 57 °C Hard Drives 72GB NVIDIA STRIPE 68.95G (SCSI) (I have a 1TB external hard drive) Optical Drives LITE-ON DVDRW SOHW-1673S USB Device SONY CD-RW CRX230EE Thanks [editline]sdsdsdsd[/editline] Forgot I don't need a case either.
idk much about AMD processors, but you'll need at least a quad core for gaming. Get a minimum of 4GB of RAM, preferably the corsair ripjaws http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231310&cm_re=ripjaws_4gb-_-20-231-310-_-Product. For GFX card, get a Evga Gtx 570 1GB SC http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130620&cm_re=evga_gtx_570-_-14-130-620-_-Product. HDD should be a Spinpoint F3 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152185&cm_re=spinpoint_f3-_-22-152-185-_-Product. Have someone to review this list of recommendations for any incompatibility issues xD
Ehh, quad cores are a bit over-rated IMO, but with 1.4k why the fuck not? [editline]7th June 2011[/editline] Give me an hour, I will be back with an awesome PC ready to order.

This does not include shipping of course.
marhaus, that's..just terrible.
marhaus, that's..just terrible.
I disagree with your statement.
ok, that's fine with me, I just hope you aren't serious.
I will be honest, I didn't try very hard :smith:
I forgot guys, I don't need a case. :v:
I forgot guys, I don't need a case. :v:
That also depends on if your case is big enough to fit these motherboards :buddy: [editline]7th June 2011[/editline] And *glances around* Mine comes with TWO graphics cards!
Marhaus that build really is terrible. Stop trying to convince him to waste his money.
