• I jinxed (sort of) my Geometry Teacher into having a seizure

Well, that depends on your definition of "jinx". And it wasn't really me. Well, kind of. Anyway, today was my first day back to School from Winter Break, and I also recently (about 2 weeks ago) started taking on/off Prescription "Conserta" shit from my doctor, and I decided to take it today. The day started out okay - had Advisory because some people had new schedules (mine and many others didn't change at all), and 1st and 2nd period were boring as hell. Then, 3rd Period Biology. We took notes about various genetic diseases, such as Turner's and Down Syndrome. Around the end of the period I suddenly got really fucking light-headed, I felt like I was going to throw up, everything looked green, etc. Anyway, I quickly ran to my teacher, told her this shit, and so she gave me a pass to the Nurse. Walking down the bitch of a hallway was horrifying - everything felt shaky. When I went to the Nurse I just gave her the pass and (I didn't even ask or say anything) and immediately went to one of the beds. She looked at the pass, and asked me a few questions, got my blood pressure, and it turns out my blood pressure was low, gave me water, etc., etc. She called my mom, because, naturally, she must've emailed her about the Conserta and talked to her about having me go home. I really didn't feel like doing this, as I was getting better anyway. She decided to come to my School though, and when she did I was perfectly fine. I was missing most of 4th period, but so she and her started talking about my medication and other stuff. And apparently, she noticed my schedule sheet that was useless to me, and she noticed that I had 5th period geometry, and the teacher who I had (who is a motherfucking cool teacher - Mr. Gomez) had periodic seizures (course, this might come off as natural to some of you, who might have relatives or something with a similar condition). I didn't know this at all, so I inquired and she told me what to do in case he ever had a seizure in class (go to the Nurse/call the Nurse on the phone, etc.), which was unlikely anyway, according to her. But of course, it was now 5th period, and about 3 minutes later, I said "I think I'm ready to go to class now, anyway." She signed the pass, I went up to my geometry class and my awesome teacher is telling everybody to get their workbooks. I get mine, and he goes to the desk. About 4 or so minutes, a huge fucking coincidence occurs and my teacher starts wimping in his chair and started vomiting. HE WAS HAVING A MOTHERFUCKING SEIZURE, only after I had just found out about his "condition". One of the students, who must've been aware of this, immediately left the classroom rather hastily. Everybody was staring, but I went over and started holding him by his shoulders, because I was supposed to keep him steady and prevent him from hitting his head. About 30 seconds or so later another Geometry teacher (a really strict fuck, from what I've heard) came in over Mr. Gomez and I just went to my seat as she tried to keep him steady. From what I remember he vomited another time, and then he started slumping and starting using his pen on his computer's mousepad. I had to admit, it was a bit freaky, both for me, and for everyone else. But he turned out all right. He regained his bearings, walked out of the classroom, where I saw the nurse. I had no idea what the fuck was going on out there, but the nurse and him came back in and the nurse said that she was fine and that it must've been a complete coincidence for her to just tell me about this right before he actually had one, which would've occurred usually later in the day. He said that he was fine, and he told us where to open our workbooks. The Nurse said he's had seizures in class before, but...hell. I asked this girl behind me if she knew he had seizures before, and apparently he had one before and most of us didn't notice because we were taking a test at the time. Pretty freaky fucking coincidence that happened today, if you ask me. But he's fine.
You bastard!
As I said, wasn't really a jinx, more of a freak coincidence.
That must suck to be him, I can't imagine seeing him vomit in class was nice for you either.
:wtc:
It's inconceivable that this is just a mere coincidence and you should put value behind the idea that you are jinxed.
Good job, asshole.
That must suck to be him, I can't imagine seeing him vomit in class was nice for you either.
I asked him about it and apparently he's going to go through this neurosurgery thing on his forehead that should halt the seizures from now on.
Which begs the question... what year are you in?
Im honestly not seeing how a coincidental seizure needs a thread and im still glad i only have epilepsy and not his condition
Which begs the question... what year are you in?
I'm 15
Im honestly not seeing how a coincidental seizure needs a thread
This pretty much, the thread is about a teacher having a seizure which is coincidence because your school nurse explained you what to do if a teacher ever got a seizure. I wish we had school nurses... :saddowns:
meh, it was just a few minutes after i found out, that's pretty coincidental to me
point is that we don't really care and that you should not make threads about this
I had a good laugh imagining of what the situation would look like. You're a good guy/girl for helping your teacher out with his seizure Aurora.
My algebra teacher had a seizure in the middle of class when I was in 8th grade. They called everyone to the gym to keep us out of the way. I'm pretty sure she had another while in the bathroom too later that year.

Periodic seizures? That'd suck... badly
-snip. replied to wrong thread.-
How do you reply to the wrong thread? [editline]4th January 2011[/editline] One of my friends had the same teacher as me, but different class in 8th grade, and the teacher was a fucking bitch, but she always had this condescending smile, and smiled while yelling at people and such. My friend put holy water around his desk, and the teacher would not go near his desk, and when she even came close, she stopped smiling.
How do you reply to the wrong thread?
have 2 or more tabs open, have them all scrolled down to the reply part, you want to open tab A but you accidentally press tab B but you don't notice because it's at the reply part happens to me a lot
If he has sezuires all the time, then it's not a coincidence.
1. drop the shit pill ASAP. 2.conserta turns you into a fucking zombie 3.drop the fucking pill 4.sucks about your teacher
Well, not all the time, and when it happens apparently it's more usual for him to have it later in the day.
