I've been saving up for an Alienware Aurora and I've been wondering how these games will run. Garry's Mod Counter Strike World of Warcraft The Sims 3 (with expansions) Team Fortress Plz Help!!
lol no build your own or bust [editline]10:27PM[/editline] unless you like throwing money away but you would save $1000+ :350:
Yeah and you don't need a computer that good for those games. You can spend like 500 building it yourself and you will be fine unless you need a monitor/os.
DO NOT GET ALIENWARE BUILD IT YOURSELF bzzt *spark*
Build it yourself, you'll save a ton of money since you don't pay ridiculous branding and probably end up with something better. You don't need such an epic PC to run those games though... get something cheaper and save the rest.
Build your own computer goddamnit.
guys not everyone has the ability/intellectual capacity to build one
guys not everyone has the ability/intellectual capacity to build one
To be honest, it isn't much harder than putting together a home theater system. Or Legos. You just put the pieces in where they fit, plug in the cables and boom your off. If anything, you can go to several websites that basically walk you through the whole process if you have your doubts. I think, maybe spending 1-2 hours to save $500+ is worth it. I think probably, the hard part is ordering all the parts and making sure everything works with each other. But if you go to the PC Building section, I'm sure they would be willing to help you out and post a build if you tell them your budget.
guys not everyone has the ability/intellectual capacity to build one
Everything is labeled and color-coded. A kindergartener could practically build a desktop.
