I would think so but I must ask this because there are games and other files I haven't used in a long time and if I used the compress thing I would get a LOT of space, if it compressed game files, and other important stuff would they still work? Some more info on the subject would be nice too.
It won't harm the files, but the game will run slower. If you use a specialized disk cleaner, you can specify not to compress them.
