I really want a reserves option, I don't care how much they limit my character.
eh, cosmetics are pretty lame for a game like this
i think one of the things that was cool in the original was that everyone looked like a generic grunt as if they were part of a single organized army, with small details like logos on vehicles to differentiate outfits
I'm glad it's just cosmetics. It'd be a shame to see the game ruined by pay2win crap.
Yay, the F2P Revolution continues, although in what capacity remains a mystery.
I hope it's similar to World of Tanks where you have free basic accounts and then Pay for Premium Time that gives you bonuses.
I heard somewhere that this game will have player cities just like SWG had. I think that'd be pretty nice.
Fuck yeah F2P,I don't give a fuck if I have a shittier weapon or whatever as a F2P soldier. All I care about is taking part in the massive war.
I like that more companies are doing the LoL F2P model (Pay for cosmetics and not power)

i don't think it's going to be F2P, i'm guessing the free part is something similar to the reserves program in the first game
I never played planetside, but this looks cool
what exactly is the reserve program? is it like f2p but with handicapped characters?
in the first game the reserves program allowed you to make free characters that could only level up to battle rank 6, this means you had a very limited amount of certifications and only a single implant
(certifications gave you access to different equipment, vehicles and weapons)
you are in no way handicapped (this would be silly in an FPS), the game is entirely skill-based, most people used the weapons you can get without spending any certification points, as they were the bread and butter in combat
That image just makes me think of Captain Anderson from Mass Effect as some sort of superhero.
