• Anti-Semitic bullying forces Jewish teen from Berlin high school
The story of a 14-year-old who had to change schools to escape anti-Semitism is making headlines in Germany. The boy's tormentors were of Arab and Turkish descent - making the news even more explosive. The story about the teenager, which originally ran in the UK newspaper "The Jewish Chronicle," featured in the weekend editions of many German newspapers as well as the online edition of respected news magazine "Der Spiegel." The "Chronicle" reported that 14-year-old "Phillip" (not his real name) transferred from the Gemeinschaftschule in the Friedenau district of Berlin to another school after suffering anti-Semitic abuse. The teenager was subjected to verbal harassment after revealing he was Jewish. He was also grabbed and threatened with a realistic-looking pistol that later turned out to be fake. "Listen, you are a cool dude but I can't be friends with you," the newspaper quoted one of his former classmates as saying. "Jews are all murderers." The mother of "Phillip" decided to send him to another high school. The teenager himself is shocked by what happened to him. "It was terrible, but I didn't have time to think what's happening at the time," "Phillip" told "The Jewish Chronicle." "Now when I look back, I think, oh my God." The newspaper wrote that the case "illustrates long history of antisemitic (sic) harassment of Jewish pupils, particularly by Arab and Turkish children."
I also want to add that I've heard of similar stories when I visited a synagogue in Antwerp and talked to people, which has a growing muslim community. Well obviously this would happen when ill-adjusted people are let loose in a foreign country with very different values.
I find it strange that Arabs would stereotype that jews are all murderers when they suffer from the same stereotype.
people from Arab countries hate Jews with a passion, it was bound to happen. It's also interesting that anti semitism in Europe is directly rising with the introduction of Arab refugees and that 2 major terror attacks have happened at Israeli/Jewish owned places.
After the first incident, we addressed it," Runkel told Berlin's "Tagesspiegel" newspaper. "Now, unfortunately, we no longer have the chance to convince the boy that he's safe here. But we'll continue to address this issue, and the perpetrators will face consequences."
Oh nonsense. Schools dont do anything about bullying until its way too late. Why were the people who started this not punished sooner?

Then I wonder why I have Jewish friends hmmm, maybe I plan to kill them according to you hmm? Stop with the bullshit and fear mongering Svinnik and stop generalising and don't forget that Jews can be very racist towards everyone not Jewish, especially in Israel.

Look at Arab media in general and you'll see where I'm coming from. With things like this and the fact that many Arab governments hold the Protocols of the Elders of Zion to be a factual book, my claim that Arab media and their governments are anti semitic is true. I should correct my original statement to say that people from Arab countries tend to have anti semitic views instead of always having anti semitic views but a lot of the people from these countries are raised their entire lives hating Jews, why should they suddenly like Jews once they are in Europe?
My thesis for my Master's actually directly deals with this subject and how antisemitism in Islam has seen a recent rise due to some very recent historical players. Namely this guy right here; Grand Mufti of Jerusalem Amin Al Huessini and his experiences in Nazi Germany, leading a Bosnian SS division, and starting to a form a nazi-supported Free Arab Legion. Then you might not be so surprised why the Protocols of Zion, holocaust denial, and genocidal antisemitism is so pervasive in some modern governments/insurgencies today.

Like you will be literally labeled a racist bigot if you point out facts like these on the forum. Because it doesn't fit the liberal agenda, makes them really confused and angry. I know Orkel is hiding his true thoughts on the matter.
This guy says exactly what I think. I don't hate muslims, I hate islam. Everything everyone says and thinks is relative to YOU.

But the majority of Arabs are and it's really fuckin stupid.
he was definitely talking about YOU. Everything everyone says and thinks is relative to YOU.
What? He said "arabs" and not "some arabs". Also
Everything everyone says and thinks is relative to YOU
Dude what?
What? He said "arabs" and not "some arabs". Also Dude what?
I'm implying you're a narcissist who thinks whatever someone says must be relative to your specific circumstances. He made a general statment (one that is backed up by a large amount of data) literally generalizing, and you got out of sorts because YOU are not racist and YOU have jewish friends, ergo hes just being a prick right This is like if i said "women want to get married after college" and you were a woman who flipped out and started squawking about how you would never get married etc, yet this does not invalidate that "women want to get married after college" is a generally true statement. I.e true more often than it is not.
Well obviously this would happen when ill-adjusted people are let loose in a foreign country with very different values.
Alternatively this is bullying and it's always existed like this. If it's not for being Jewish it's for being fat or dumb or whatever. It's hardly a condemnation of immigration policies.
Im surprised no one pointed this out
anti-Semitic attacks on Jews in Germany are carried out not just by Muslims, but by right-wing extremists as well
/pol/ is certainly not helping things, as usual. back to the topic, while I do agree with the statistics (not that its possible to "disagree" with statistics, only the methods they were obtained or presented), we must simultaneously not use it as a basis of preemptive judgement on individuals. as per Kevinspacys example, though women generally want to get married after college, you shouldnt look at a graduated woman and assume they are going to get married. in this case, there should be no prejudice against these arab kids when they first enrolled simply from their origin, but their actions should have been punished immediately, just like any other kid would have been. The school is what screwed up here

He was told about the failed Islamic conquest of Europe, and was fascinated by the idea. He'd wished it succeeded, as he liked the ferocity that islamic soldiers fought with, and wished Germany was Islamic. He thought if German soldiers fought with such righteousness and zeal, they could not lose. He also wasn't fond of Christianity, which he considered "a Jew religion" because Jesus was Jewish. Nazi Germany and select parts of the Arab world built an alliance based on mutual hatred of the British, the French, Jews, and Communists.

It entirely depended on how "Semitic" they were, and groups that demonstrated a culture or nationalism that demonstrated "superiority" could be looked upon favorably. Very similar to how the Nazis viewed the Japanese relative to the rest of Asia for example. But yeah, Hitler understood that he couldn't affect the middle east directly with his own resources considering what else he had to deal with. So why not invite one of the most influential theological figures in Islam and help radicalize/support militantly his endeavors that could be later puppeted? Not only that, but Hitler did look at islam favorably because of the zeal/ferocity one could devote themselves to the cause. Now he didn't really want to have Germany become islamic, just was really envious of the dedication one in the faith showed in it is what I surmised in his third book and Albert Speer's comments on it in his memoirs. Functionally he wanted to help transition people's priorities/dedications to the state being the highest instead of a god. At the same time he understood the importance of religion in German society, hence why his approach to it was mixed cause he didn't attack the institutions as you might imagine.
So your saying I hate Jews?
I mean, you are in an arab country :v: Seriously though, I find it borderline criminal that most schools still don't do anything about bullying.
