who then play for a few hours and never go back to it
I've been thinking about trying out SW:TOR after it became free-to-play as I absolutely loved the KotOR series and spent years waiting for a KotOR 3, but when I heard that you get to kill Revan I kind of lost all hope, certain of that they had ruined an awesome story-line for the amusement of the general MMORPG gaming crowd.
Are my preconceived notions regarding the game accurate or does the story-line maintain the quality of the previous 2 games?
If the latter is the case I'll try it out, though the prospect of having other players running around and ruining the atmosphere does bother me.

Its a wow clone in space with bioware's shitty writing.
It's... okay.
I felt the story driven approach they were trying to go for could have been better used in a KotOR sequel than this.

Well that doesn't sound good, have never been able to enjoy WoW or any similar MMORPGs. Too repetitive and shallow quests without any real immersion.

I thought the writing of KotOR and Mass Effect was really good though.

The more recent bioware games are plagued with bad writing, they've been deteriorating for a while now.
