[release]GREENVILLE - Anger and indignation were served up in giant helpings outside the Bi-Lo Center on Saturday as several thousand Tea Party activists cheered speakers who attacked President Barack Obama as a lying, taxing, foreign-born, anti-American socialist.
Waving signs and flags with slogans including, "It's the Constitution, stupid" and "Vote them all out," people gathered around a stage where keynote speaker Tom Tancredo, former Colorado congressman and 2008 candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, said Americans have reached the point where "we're going to have to pray that we can hold on to this country."
As for Obama, Tancredo said, "If his wife says Kenya is his homeland, why don't we just send him back?"[/release]
Morons.
Oh look another hate-movement.
Nah, just the tea-baggers again.
I've said it over and over, the Tea Party is a bunch of ignorant, racist, gullible rednecks, and they don't hesitate to prove it on an almost daily basis.
He's a bit late to the "lying, taxing, foreign-born, anti-American socialist" party. Like, two years.
at least my club isnt named after a thing girls have that they call "partys"

Tea parties are for little girls with imaginary friends.
He's black therefore, Kenyan. :hurr:
they sound so stupid.
this quote makes them really stupid: "If his wife says Kenya is his homeland, why don't we just send him back?"
These images represent the credibility of Barack Obama v. the Tea Party.

So like UKIP, just American.
I can see thinking he doesn't qualify for the presidency by being supposedly born in Kenya, but deporting just because of that?
I'm pretty sure they don't do that normally with regular people

As an alternative to just calling the Tea Party a gathering of failed abortions
He's black therefore, Kenyan. :hurr:
Didn't read the story.
It wasn't even a long one.
Piece of shit racist fucks.
Gotta love the freedom of speech in the US. Any other country would probably execute the people that are racist towards the President

Fixed

Uh no, that isn't what they're going on about.
His nationality and U.S Born status has been in question for the longest time. I was reading somewhere and talking to a higher up military friend of mine that some court ordered him to provide his birth certificate and proof he is a U.S born citizen, but he keeps finding loop holes or something like that to keep pushing it back. I dunno the whole story and don't really give a fuck.
I don't really like the Tea Party, but i give them credit for using all their rights. Not many people use their rights let alone keep going at it like they do.

No, it's not in question at all.
I wonder how much the tea baggers influence foreign opinion of us
Who would take such a movement seriously?
Come on, TEA Party? What the fuck is this shit
Why are these people even allowed a political platform?
I know people make jokes about America, but I can't believe this. Nobody would get away with saying stuff like this any modern European country. America's supposed to be one of the most developed countries in the world and yet this Tea Party movement is apparently not considered completely off the wall!

i doubt that's true. Most suits brought up about his nationality aren't taken by the courts. The concept of him not being an American citizen is pretty much a laughingstock to the majority of Americans, and the majority of the American legal system. It's just that the small, irrational segment that does believe in it are very very vocal about it.
It's been proved he's a Hawaiin born american. Why is this EVER been in question?
It's been proved he's a Hawaiin born american. Why is this EVER been in question?
it's not legitimate criticism or skepticism, the birther movement is founded entirely on irrational feelings and ignorance. People want to believe he was born outside the US, so they will scrounge up and cling to any evidence that could possibly be construed to support that belief
[editline]02:18PM[/editline]
him providing his birth certificate would do nothing to shut these people up. They'll continue to believe what they want to believe no matter what

Why does a president have to be born in the US? Surely it doesn't matter where he's from, provided the public want him.

What? These people are allowed a political platform because anybody in the country can run for office on any political stance, because that's part of the freedom package you get for being an American citizen.
And this has nothing to do with how developed we are as a nation, all countries have people who are like this. Some just aren't quite as vocal. It's a good thing that people in this country are allowed to voice any opinion they have, including ones that have no basis in reality, because it means Freedom of Speech is still going strong.
Maybe it's those guys who were going to infiltrate the Tea Party. Or maybe they're all racist fucks.
He did provide his birth certificate. They still haven't shut up yet? It's nothing but a racist movement.
