TBH the problem isn't the fact of mobile titles. The Problem is the fact shareholders may dilute the business model of the games.
When ever I think of a publicly traded video game company I cringe Shareholders care nothing except their quarterly reports, and a company will try to squeeze every penny they can and run them selves straight into the ground just to appease them. Theirs a reason why Valve isn't public.
What is the point of doing this? I believe that if what you have done has brought you success, you should not change your strategy until it starts failing.
