In first plot details, “Campbell reprises his role as Ash, the aging lothario and chainsaw-handed monster hunter who has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead. When a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind, Ash is finally forced to face his demons – personal and literal.“
Please be more "Evil Dead 2" and less "Army of Darkness", pretty please.
Not sure about the other cast members, but the world needs more Bruce Campbell. Hope this turns out well.
Please be more "Evil Dead 2" and less "Army of Darkness", pretty please.
Both were completely kickass.
Both were completely kickass.
For different reasons.
Both were completely kickass.
Yeah, but Evil Dead 2 is the perfect horror-comedy while Army of Darkness is a fantastic slapstick comedy. Evil Dead 2 has much more interesting characters, story, and is generally much more Sam Raimi-y. (Eyeball scene, hand, and talking head)

If they manage to do something like that, where ash is left in an advantageous place because of his knowledge of both creepy and tech, then I will really enjoy it.

They were pretty much all Three Stooges-esque slapstick.
It's going to be horror-oriented in the same was the latest Evil Dead was. IIRC I'm pretty sure making a tie-in between Ash and Mia's storylines was discussed, and that most recent one wasn't exactly very funny.
