What exactly do I do to get a transparent avatar that works for Facepunch? Everything I've tried gives me the same white background :bydood:

opened transparent image the same size in photoshop, pasted your avatar in a new layer, used the magic wand tool to select the white, deleted the white, merged the layers, and saved as .png with all the default options.
For future reference, the process of making it transparent has nothing to do with it.
If the PNG's dimensions are too large, Facepunch automatically resizes it and gets rid of the transparency in the process. Just make sure that your image is 80x80 or smaller before saving it as PNG.
