I thought about making a lego version of a Counter Strike or Team Fortress map, then ordering it. I got just the spawn area done of only one side of 2fort, and I go to check the price.

It's so much easier using real lego. But you don't get to build cool stuff if you don't have cool lego parts.
I remember something like this a [b]very[/b] long time ago. You could order the pieces and actually build it then, too. It was great.
If only you could export to some more advanced 3d app for rendering.

It's just not the same...
I gave up trying to use it. I couldn't find the virtual piece I was looking for. I swear it was there earlier though.
I like it, but I feel it's lacking in variety to the bricks,
but I heard lego universe will come with something like this, but with more bricks to choose from :D
I used this when I was 10. I had fun recreating the white house many times and almost got arrested for making the map perfect one time.
I sometimes use it now when i build stuff with my mindstorms and r 2 lazy to bring out the pieces.
I would pay more then 68 dollars for something sick in lego.

I used to love making half ass airplanes in that game and thinking I was the shit flying around my shitty city.
As a kid I used to make boats from LEGO, and while going to the bath, playing with them in water.
You will also be able to do this in the upcoming Lego MMO and play with your stuff with real people and order it to build it yourself at home.
