A year or two ago I bought a pre build pc but now its running slow with the latest games. Specs: Operating System Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1 CPU Intel Core i7 930 @ 2.80GHz Bloomfield 45nm Technology RAM 6,00GB Triple-Channel DDR3 @ 534MHz (8-8-8-20) Motherboard ASUSTeK Computer INC. P6T SE (LGA1366) Graphics Philips 220E (1920x1080@60Hz) 1024MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 6700 Series (Sapphire/PCPartner) (HD6790) Hard Drives 466GB Western Digital WDC WD5000AADS-00S9B0 ATA Device (SATA) 596GB SAMSUNG HD642JJ ATA Device (SATA) Power Supply is 380W I've been thinking for a new videocard: http://www.conrad.be/ce/nl/product/874577/EVGA-Grafische-kaart-NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX650-Ti-2048-MB-GDDR5-RAM-PCIe-x16-2x-DVI-Mini-HDMI I have to use that site because its the only decent computer parts webshop in Belgium. And maybe some added RAM. Budget is around 500 euro but if needed can be a bit higher. You need a better power supply. I would get this http://www.conrad.be/ce/nl/product/973857/Silverstone-SST-ST50F-ES-500-W-PC-netvoeding I would get this RAM http://www.conrad.be/ce/nl/product/399666/Kingston-HyperX-Blu-Werkgeheugen-8-GB-2-x-4-GB-DDR3-RAM-1600-MHz-9-9-9-27-240pin-DIMM I don't know what graphics card you should get.
Alright thanks for the reply I see that the recommended watt for the video card is 500W So will this: http://www.conrad.be/ce/nl/product/919253/Thermaltake-Hamburg-530-W-netvoeding-met-36-maanden-fabrieksgarantie Be ok for this videocard: http://www.conrad.be/ce/nl/product/874577/EVGA-Grafische-kaart-NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX650-Ti-2048-MB-GDDR5-RAM-PCIe-x16-2x-DVI-Mini-HDMI Or should I get a different one my motherboard says PCIe 2X 16X but the video card says 3X Also my power supply only has a back fan will the new bottom fan PSU work properly? Do I need a new cpu and motherboard?
Get the silverstone it is more reliable than thermaltake. You can plug pci3 into pci2. You don't need a new CPU and motherboard. You can get a better graphics card with that amount of money left. You have enough money left over to get this http://www.conrad.be/ce/nl/product/563067/EVGA-Grafische-kaart-NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX760-2048-MB-GDDR5-RAM-PCIe-x16-2x-DVI-HDMI-DisplayPort
