Matt Patches writing for Cinemablend said "Attack the Block, even on its small scale, may wind up as one of the best action movies of the year". IGN gave it four stars saying "Cornish directs with the confidence of a seasoned pro" and calling the film "a blast from start-to-finish." Ben Rawson-Jones of Digital Spy awarded the movie four stars, saying that it is "exactly the kind of distinctly homegrown product that the British film industry should be making" The film currently holds a 'fresh' rating of 94% on Rotten Tomatoes [editline]12th May 2011[/editline] I watched this film yesterday and i really enjoyed it, what do you think?
It looks great, no idea how I haven't heard of this any sooner. Although the alien looks like a bear with glow in the dark teeth, particularly around 1:50
Whoa, never heard of this before. Doesn't seem like a Nick Frost film, but I'll give it a try all the same. I hope it's good.
More like Kidulthood meets Skyline
Meh, I dunno what to make of the trailer. Not impressed really.
chavs kicking alien balls? Hell yeaH!
Apparently it will released in America and it will be subtitled because of the South London accents
heh
I don't think it needs subtitles in the American version, I can understand them fine :colbert:
Looks pretty bad to be honest.
I really wanted to see this, but girlfriend made me see something borrowed fuck my life. Will probably see it this weekend as it looks pretty good.
It's Missing Simon Pegg, you can't have a movie with Nick Frost in it without Simon Pegg
I thought it said Attack The Black, inb4TH98
It has a damn good rating on rotten tomatoes right now, might consider seeing it. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/attack_the_block/
yeah wheres simon [editline]12th May 2011[/editline] and subtitles? it's english for christ's sakes, they don't go to see it cause they're to thick to understand it, not cause they're to thick to understand what they're saying.
looks bad

Those of us in your failed colonies do not know Chavspeke, just as you fellows are unknowing of Wiggerspeke.
I think this could be a good movie, the trailer is just poor.
Edgar Wright and Nick Frost but no Simon Pegg?! [editline]13th May 2011[/editline] r8myselfl8m8 Anyway, the trailer made me laugh in all honesty, despite how cheesy it looked. But I'm guessing that's the point.
But there are alot of movies with Pegg in but no Frost, they do make a kickass team but the dont need to always be together
Looks, really good, comes out today. =D
Or 11th in the UK (preview)
Where the living fuck is Simon Pegg? [editline]13th May 2011[/editline]
Apparently it will released in America and it will be subtitled because of the South London accents
Haha.
apparently filming a new mission impossible film
Going to see it this weekend, can't wait. It has really good reviews.
To be honest just looking at this makes me think how much better Shaun of The Dead actually was. Not to mention its glorifying chavs :colbert:
Also the death of chavs!
Not to mention its glorifying chavs :colbert:
How so?
How so?
Oh come on, portraying them as being fearless of giant aliens and being able to take them on? You know for a fact majority of the people who fit into this stereotype are complete anti-social misfits who would run away the minute something freaky happened.
It's Missing Simon Pegg, you can't have a movie with Nick Frost in it without Simon Pegg
World's End is their final installment together.
