I'm saving up to get my computer fixed. I tried to get the price as low as possible without sacrificing being able to play TF2 or L4D all the way up with good framerate

i've already got sound cards since i'm assuming every single motherboard ever supports Realtek97 or whatever it's called.
I'm also curious about what the wattage on the power supply for that would all be. I've got two power supplies right now and I don't want to have to buy if I don't have to
Yes it will work but look at some of intels offerings
What's your system at the moment
What are the power supplies you have now, Wattage and brand
Also a decent brand 400 Watt PSU will power that, at very minimum 300 Watt

Thank you guys.
My system at the moment is an E-machine that I threw a gig of ram into. I suppose I should also get another gig huh. lol
If you guys can think of any more ways for me to get the same performance but a lower price that would greatly be appreciated

The power supply i'm hoping to put into my new one is 300w, from Hipro, 24 pin/slot/thing connector for the motherboard(I'm only telling you this because It tried using it for my current PC and it didn't fit), it's got hookups for IDE and SATA
Emachines Hipros have a tendency to explode and take the motherboard with them.
Really?
I better replace my power supply then.
Never mind, I was thinking of Bestec PSUs found in Emachines.
I have a powernet, I guess I'm safe from dramatic explosions.
how much can you spend
When do you plan on buying this stuff?
I'm planning on spending around 350, and I plan on buying it whenever I manage to save up enough
So far i've got 10 dollars, but i'm getting 30 from selling GTA IV, 62 from selling some other stuff, and 45 for selling Guitar Hero
"Other stuff" meaning weed?
No.

If I get the CPU, am I going to have to install the 64 bit version of windows?
make a thread when you have the cash prices will change and newer better stuff may be cheaper
Alrighty, but could i get an answer to my latest question?
I don't want shitty 64 bit windows
64bit windows>32bit windows.
[editline]01:38AM[/editline]
There really isn't any downside to 64bit.
You really should.
64 bit is better than 32 bit.
what the hell is wrong with 64 bit

There is nothing wrong with Hipro
My friends computer HAD a 300 watt "Bestec" power supply, but then I gave him a 9400gt and also gave him a 380 watt Raidmax PSU.
Raidmax isn't much better

The Bestecs from Emachines are the ones that are known for exploding.
Raidmax isn't much better
They are around the same as Rosewill, which aren't bad for lower end systems.
I think even rosewill has a bit more rep than raidmax/
Meh, still not as bad as what he had.
The raidmax can probably put out 380 watts.

Wait... On one of my threads asking about it, you said it could output 380...
