• A Build for a Friend

My friend has around £900 (give or take) to spend on a full build. Full build meaning from monitors to harddrives He has been looking to get 3 monitors - He has been looking at - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-S22B300HS-21-5-Widescreen-Monitor/dp/B0074H1SD0/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1369604318&sr=8-2&keywords=samsung+21.5+monitor He wants to be able to switch to xbox easy and then switch back to PC without having to mess around at the back of the TV. He then needs a graphics card which has vga and 2x hdmi(or)dvi Also he needs a wifi adapter. He is looking for the best possible build for his price but also take into account reliability. Can you guys help me out here? (I have tried to persuade him that he doesn't need 3 monitors but he wont budge) Thanks Jhawsh
Three monitors will severely stretch the hardware budget. If he plans to game using all 3 monitors, he will need a huge budget bump. The best course of action would be for him to get one monitor then a better build, as it is much easier to add a monitor later than upgrade the build.
If he's not a gamer then we could probaly do that :v: (3 monitors for multi-tasking purposes)
If he's not a gamer then we could probaly do that :v: (3 monitors for multi-tasking purposes)
"it will mainly be for working but maybe the odd game every now and then" I think he wouldn't be playing very graphic intense games but more relaxed ones, maybe TF2, minecraft and stuff. If someones going to post links (ill be grateful) could you please make sure they are UK sites :) Thanks
If he's not doing nvidia surround / eyefinity then I guess it's fine. but yeah that budget is crap. Tell him to either save up or just give up and buy one monitor (And even with 1 monitor it's still a lame budget)
