Though I am happy for you wtf $7000 and only a GTX 480? I'm not being mean just stating the fact that you got ripped off. [editline]25th February 2011[/editline] Oh apparently you have two, but still.
How the hell do you get at 7000$ for that? CPU is the only really exspensive module on it and your psu is overkill annyway. I would say you could have done the same for 3-4000$
Hate to burst your bubble, but you could do a lot better for $7000. Hell, you could build a better spec'd PC for half that. Enjoy it anyway.
7 grand? really? http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=22721088
for 7k i was expecting triple 30" monitors and really extreme stuff
ahaha this is so bad not only are the specs utter crap but it's ridiculously ricer
Wow, would have got a decent hard drive at least.
7 grand? really? http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=22721088
You got 2 CPU's/coolers but a motherboard with only one CPU socket. Try an SR-2 instead and you also have 2 PSU's. Two 6970's + two GTX 580's plus a GTX 560(physx slave?) is stupid. Try building a build that is far better than this guy's and half as much. [editline]26th February 2011[/editline] Also OP your build reaaaaaaly sucks and is incredibly ugly. [editline]26th February 2011[/editline] In fact, let me build myself a dream computer and show you how to do it properly
his budget may be $7000, but that doesn't mean he needs to spend all $7000 In fact, I would say spend at a maximum of $2000 [editline]26th February 2011[/editline] for the tower and the OS, that is

My god, I could of built a better PC for $3000.
I do have 3, 3D monitors, the SSD alone is 700, and I didn't spend 7grand, i spent around 3500 . so for every one being a crying bitch shut up.
I'm finding that hard to believe, I think you realize what a bad buy you made and are now pretending that your decision was actually wise. Oh my god you bought a gtx480. You could have tri-sli'ed 3 580's and you bought a single mid-high range gpu. I doubt that will run 3 3d monitors without awful fps (which is essentially 6 monitors as it renders 1 scene for each eye.),
Okay, this is a proper dream build, because it isn't stupid expensive, while still being suitably impressive and actually having a realistic amount of performance increase over a 'normal' build. I even tried to keep the colors in the same scheme :buddy: I admit the memory I chose is kinda stupid but it was too sexy looking to pass up. You just spent $7000 on a computer? That could have gotten a miata
How is it even possible to spend seven grand on that?
How is it even possible to spend seven grand on that?
He bought over priced hardware with it, oh and gimmicky shit
I spent a grand total of 7000$ usd

i spent around 3500.
Sounds legit.

[editline]26th February 2011[/editline]
Sounds legit.
Right, 7000$ on EVERYTHING parts alone are only 3500, buddy. Mind you I have 3 23" 3D Monitors, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236104 and I bought cathodes, backup PSU (psu protection) custom case paint (midnight black) and a new gaming keyboard, mouse, headset, mouse pad. so I think it all adds up and yes, parts alone were only 3500! NOT THE ACCESORIES.
Horrible specs and horrible music
Horrible specs and horrible music
you're an idiot aswell.
Look at the speed on it.
Yeah I noticed. It's really slow compared to the SSD I put in my build(twice the performance and size at a third the price) or a RevoDrive(Many times the performance, twice the size, half the price. http://www.dangerden.com/store/dd-tower-26-black-series-edition.html Case paint is +20$. Not expensive..
you're an idiot aswell.
I'm the idiot? Do explain the great knowledgeable one.
Perhaps you should consider a refund and getting more parts suitable for a 'dream pc' build, someone around here would probably be willing to help you choose parts especially with a budget of $7000 (including your gaming gear).
Can you get a refund and give 7k to milky? I would kill to see what he'd do with 7 grand.
