My friend is getting a job during the summer and he's been wanting to get a better laptop to play games and to not have a mac. For whatever reason he doesn't want a desktop, and he wants it to be a gaming laptop. He'll want it to beable to run games like tf2, css, etc at 60+ fps. He doesn't have any real price limit, but $1000 or under is reasonable. He's thinking about getting an alienware, any suggestions on what alienware or a different, cheaper laptop which is better?
