Well worth getting, although the bonus cares aren't actually available anymore since EA closed the ingame shop that manages it.
There are ways to enable them but I don't know if EA is punishing those that do.
Oh and the online is still fairly active.

Anyways, great price for this game. My friends and I have been playing it off and on for the past few weeks; loads of fun setting up our own challenges or just generally dicking around.
Get the console version instead, there's more content thanks to EA being bunch of shitdicks by closing down the online store for PC.
This game is pretty fun, but then I go and play Burnout 3 on the ps2 and this game just does not compare.
It's amazing how much faster and more intense Burnout 3 is compared to this game.

You can buy the car packs on Amazon or GMG. The only two DLCs that didn't make it to the PC version are the Cops and Robbers pack and the Big Surf Island pack. Vanity Pack, a mod for the PC version of the game, adds Cops and Robbers cars (doubt about the actual gamemode though) and the Big Surf Island location and cars. Even works online too, but is crazy unstable.
