"Rockstar is a content company, not a hardware company,"
Now we know what the hardware's capable of, so it's become a lot easier to move things along and a lot more fun, too.
truth, just compare launch titles with games released at almost the end of a consoles life. More often than not they'll look better and perform better. Just don't fuck up the PC version please.
Well how about use rage's full potential on the pc version then? and not just a piece of shit of a port.
Well how about use rage's full potential on the pc version then? and not just a piece of shit of a port.
youre using windows xp dude that doesnt even have dx10 dont talk about full pc potential
So, as long as they don't make the PC Version look and un-optimized like shit, it will be GOTY for PC. Hopefully they learned enough from GTAIV's patches.
I'm REALLY hoping they don't screw this up for PC..
It's all good because it will most likely be backwards compatible with next gen consoles....right?....RIGHT?
My stupid-powerful computer can't even fully max GTA4 and that's pathetic when I can max every game that has come out in the last 2 years. I sure hope it can run GTA5 on low!

If GTAV gets decent optimization running it on High on a powerful computer shouldn't be an issue.
I'm REALLY hoping they don't screw this up for PC..
they probably fucked up with GTA IV because it was one of the first games working on RAGE, which was kind of a newborn child at the time, and focused on the Xbox 360 hardware
I'm REALLY hoping they don't screw this up for PC..
Don't worry, it will be a whole year before the PC port is released, that's plenty of time for them to fix it up. :v:
They're right. They're developing for consoles that have hardware that our PC's had back 2000, all of our PC's have kept going, but consoles haven't moved. Hopefully because of this, GTA5 will actually run worth a shit on PC

They have the same performance as budget video cards people used in 2007 to put it into perspective.
