My friends and I's last creation, Eye For An Eye. We started messing around and I came up with this riff and chord progression that is essentially chugging on the same riff with some breaks here and there. I hope you enjoy it!

I woke up one night with a riff stuck in my head. This is the song made with said riff.
the first track sounds a little distorted and you cant really hear the drums- the guitar really does overpower the whole song as a whole but it's really nice. it's a good idea that is good without the mastering, but with a few tweaks on volume and compression here and there it could be really awesome.
and same with the other song to be honest, really awesome stuff here but needs tweaking to push it that little bit further
This really, really needs some vocals or lead guitar. On their own they're decent tracks, but without some nice, crunchy solos or fitting vocals, they are just too bland for me to enjoy.
Also, as Bobie said, the guitar on the first track is a bit too distorted, on the second track, however, it's great.
Keep on making this stuff, I see potential.

You're absolutely right about the guitars really overpowering the song, I can try and mix the drums a bit better so that they also get their spot in the sunlight. I will see what I can do with some more mixing and mastering to make them seem more whole. =)

Sadly I know no vocalists, lead guitar can probably be fixed for both songs though!
Thank you both for taking your time to listen and giving me response on what you think needs to be fixed, I'll see if I can make both tracks better now. =)

Done some mixing and mastering now on Eye For An Eye

A lot more rounded sound, the guitar tone has been changed and I lifted forward two parts after the break that were sort of solos already but now they get their time to shine.
The first track really bugged me because you were using a triplet rhythm structure on the guitars and bass, but the drums were playing it straight- they weren't swung at all.
They're a bit boring to be honest.
i love the remastered version, it really reminds me of a cross between black sabbath and st vitus

Yeah it's a bit of a contrast, personally I like it but I can see why you think the way you do. =)

They definietly needs some vocals to help spruce it up, we're currently looking for a vocalists though so hopefully we'll get some vocals on future tracks.

Not familiar with St Vitus, but I'm currently listening to their self-entitled track and it's really groovy, so I take this as a huge compliment! Glad I could make the song better with some mastering, and that you enjoy it. =)
