I'm Polish and I live in England half of my life currently, it's not often you hear or read things like this, but this makes me feel ashamed to how such situation could take place, most people I've met and told them I am Polish they seem to have respect and are always curious about my country, I never hear any bad words from people, the only people that complain however are halfwits or uneducated which shows in these dailymail comments.

Don't let the daily mail comments get you mixed up, polish people are pretty widely accepted around England. It's just some older people and some chav 'fookin queen and country like' types who perpetuate polish racism. Most of the polish work harder than the people who want them gone.

Poles had a bad reputation in the UK since many years, and this is not helping at all.

It doesn't say in the article that he was high at the time of the attack, but rather that he was previously convicted of cannabis possession in Poland. It should also be noted that the perpetrator is supposedly a paranoid schizophrenic.
