I can't even play the game due to a glitch on the Xbox 360 version of Mass Effect 3. After playing the game for one day, the next morning I tried to play the game again and to my surprise it started crashing before it even got to the title screen. At first, I assumed this was just a reading error on the part of the Xbox itself. I took the game out, examined it for scratches, and then tried to play it again to no avail. I then tried to install the game to my hard drive, which gave no results. Eventually, after many different attempts at getting the damn thing to work, I went to the Internet for help. Turns out, there is a game breaking bug that makes the game completely unplayable. This video basically sums up what occurs in the glitch. There is also a thread on the Bioware social page detailing the issue. As of now, Bioware says that they are "investigating it" and that we may see a patch by the end of the month. As of now, there is no fix to the issue and there may be no compensation from EA or Bioware. This glitch is sure to enrage many Mass Effect fans and put another dent on ME3's already fragile reputation. Look on the bright side: At least they'll never get to the end of the game. :v:
Well, this is odd. Here's hoping they fix it soon.
You must purchase the DLC on the X-Box 360 in order to actually play the game.
I never had this problem?
Never happened to me. That must suck.
Look on the bright side: At least they'll never get to the end of the game. :v:
"At Electronic Arts, we take consumer protection very seriously" I could imagine such a statement... It's been quite a mess, seeing Bioware going down like this under a publisher like EA. (Who has caused the closing of Westwood and Bullfrog, so I see the story repeating itself here)
Look on the bright side: At least they'll never get to the end of the game. :v:
Too late, for me at least.
He forgot to purchase the additional "Allow Old Gamertag" for $5 DLC straight from Biowares ass cheese.
"You've already played through the game once. You must repurchase the game in order to experience it again. End of rine."
I never had this problem?
...good job? What's your point?
Look on the bright side: At least they'll never get to the end of the game. :v:
"Hey, guess i'll watch some Youtube videos- ... what the FUCK"
There goes their free patch (if they haven't already used it)
Atleast it spares them the ending.
I'm sure EA already hit their sales target, they don't give a fuck.

A glitch renders Mass Effect 3 unplayable. So. . .the glitch doesn't actually do anything, then?
haha thats gotta suck would be pissed if that happened to me
A glitch renders Mass Effect 3 unplayable. So. . .the glitch doesn't actually do anything, then?
fuck off me3 is still a fun game
A glitch renders Mass Effect 3 unplayable. So. . .the glitch doesn't actually do anything, then?
I don't like a game therefore NO ONE ELSE SHOULD. End of rine."
You joke but EA did that with BF3, if the online pass glitched, you needed to buy a new one or new game.
electronic arse - we charge you exorbitant prices then shit all over you anyway
This exact same thing happened with Homefront on Xbox 360 and they didn't fix it for about 2 or 3 weeks, it was awful. And then I realized that Homefront wasn't fun anyways and moved on.
I don't like a game therefore NO ONE ELSE SHOULD.
Yes, because joking about disliking a game = saying nobody should ever play it. Never change, internet. Never change.
fuck off me3 is still a fun game
ME3 is a great game if you stop playing right before the ending scene.
ME3 is a great game if you stop playing right before the ending scene.
In my ending Shepard activated the final sequence which was triggered through a combination of the Prothean Cypher, and Shepards DNA. Apparently there is an alternate ending in which if Javik is with you he activates part of the lock from the Normandy while EDI skips the DNA sequence all together. Either way the Citadel fired off a sort of EMP field that disabled all synthetics. Didn't kill them, just disabled them. So EDI can be reactivated for Joker, and the Quarians could choose to bring the Geth back online. Once all of that was done you and Garrus talk about going back to Omega for that drink. Apparently one of the bars there is his favorite. Then it ends. That must be where the DLC will take place. I look forward to that, honestly. Should be freaking awesome fun. This is obviously not the ending, but god damn a man can dream.
ME3 is a great game if you stop playing right before the ending scene.
Can't you just keep doing side-quests and finding planets? Haven't bought it my self, I'm boycotting it.
Yes, because joking about disliking a game = saying nobody should ever play it. Never change, internet. Never change.
Yes, because what one person says reflects what the entire internet thinks.
Can't you just keep doing side-quests and finding planets? Haven't bought it my self, I'm boycotting it.
Why are you boycotting it? It's a really great game, save for the last ten minutes.
I sat in a 2 hour line at comic con to play it for 15 minutes. Now I have no desire to play it.
he is very hairy
