Looks like you have a nice set of props and costumes and you did great on the smooth camera panning. Is this a college film or just for fun?

Love Metro2033. Costumes look good.

Your videos have pretty much talked me into buying a Canon Vixia HFR10 soon.
From the looks of it the whole film will just be you running around in the snow, is this correct?
It's nicely filmed, but the trailer doesn't really tell us anything, nor has anything to do with Metro 2033. If someone would show this to me, I wouldn't even think of it being about Metro.
Building metro stations in the middle of the forest... Those silly Russians.
Looks more like the Red Forest in the winter
From the looks of it the whole film will just be you running around in the snow, is this correct?
No not exactly. Isolation placed just a few years after the nuclear explosions happened and this character (Nikolia Glazov) doesn't know about the metro stations yet. So he returns to the service every day looking for any survivors and trying to survive. But while he is having an exterior battle with the environment he is also having a interior battle with himself and tying to keep his sanity. @cdbiohazard- I'm sorry about that I hope the whole video can fix things. @Irma- He is not in the metro stations (yet) he is in a shitty little underground bunker. We are working on getting something more Metro tunnel like but we can't use actual tunnels regrettably without a permit from the city.
Footage looks too clean to be metro based.
Your videos have pretty much talked me into buying a Canon Vixia HFR10 soon.
Only bad thing about the camera is the lowlight is HORRIBLE. Other than that man, I love it.
Are there going to be any action/suspense scenes or will it just be him walking around?
No there will be plenty of action, suspense, and horror.
Can you use tags? I can't see the video. Nevermind, I got it to work.
No there will be plenty of action, suspense, and horror.
Ah, good then. Sorry for being so cynical in my questions but I've seen so many fan-films based on S.T.A.L.K.E.R and the like which have just been people walking around and being subject to filter rape.

I just hope I cleared things up for you. Hope you enjoy the actual video when we release it this sunday.

About the whole mutant thing well try to do our best for part 2 but our FX skills are not that high yet haha
Your videos have pretty much talked me into buying a Canon Vixia HFR10 soon.
Let me rephase my response again, The HFR10 has 3 modes - Portrait, Cine, and Programmed AE. Out of those modes I use Cine the most, mostly because it eliminates nearly all the noise. The other two I suggest to use when filming with a lot of light. The only downside to the Cine mode is that it doesn't record blacks as black, it records blacks as grey. So when you go to your editing program it helps out a lot to set the blacks as black in color correction. Also, when you go to film in lowlight scenes with the HFR10 I strongly suggest bringing more than enough lighting equipment so that you can edit the scene to look naturally dark. That was one thing I wish we did when filming Isolation. Other than what I have just said it is a great camera for the price, you just have to get used to it. Another thing to keep in mind is that it records in AVCHD, if you're on a mac I think Final Cut Pro has a plugin. We use Vegas Pro 9.0 on Windows but I'm pretty sure ver. 8+ has the plugin. Also added tags around the full short for you folks who don't wanna go to youtube!
