Water texture just repeats to much, sure it looks good. But it will get annoying
Close your eyes when you go into the water.

considering the fact that texturing and texture design is one of the hardest parts of game design i'll occasionally cut them some slack if they want to say reuse water textures because there's only so many way's water can look in a certain environment within a game, for me judging from the screenshot's i think they've pulled it off quite nicely

I also have to say, the water does not darken deeper and deeper, it's the same all the way.
The first one was one of the best games on the 360, so I'm pretty hyped for this one. Also Wesker has been made available to all, not only pre-orders now.
I played the demo of the game, not very fun to be honest, most of it was just going around and killing aliens with no real fun in it.
Underwater levels? Sweet.

I hate how you don't play as any sort of main protagonist in this game, they just drop you in as generic soldier TK-421.

Actually you play as several different generic soldier TK-421s. It not all one storyline now, it's multiple short ones, or so I hear.

They drop you in as different Snow Pirates and tell their experiences. Like you play as NEVEC, Sand Pirates, etc.
First one was just a load. Why should this be any different?
Sweet it's coming out on PC day 1 :D Capcom has just gotten better and better with PC ports.
Glamorous color correction distracts you from realizing how ugly the game is.
I love lost planet, and those pictures gave me one hell of a raging boner.
This better have a larger focus on fighting akrid then before, I always found them twice as entertaining to fight than the bland factions of humans who all had the same A.I. and were basically the same enemy.
I doubt this will be any better than the first. The first game was atrocious.
HDR and Bloom lighting eye rape, nothing new, looks generic.
Makes me glad I pre-ordered it...

Fanservice, people that enjoy GoW will enjoy LP2 a bit more. In my opinion the more characters they add the better.
Though I feel that I should cancel my pre-order now that Wesker is free to all, I pre-ordered it on 360 (remember LP1 on PC? Yeah...) but now I'm thinking of waiting and seeing.

To be honest I just think they did it because they couldn't think of anything to make them stand out as really good so they decided to add shit from other successful franchises to make them share the glory by extension.

Am I the only one not excited for this game anymore? I watched the reveal trailer, which got me really hyped. But all of this waiting is just making the game seem less fun.

Yeah a bit, it's the same with Dead Rising 2, I was really excited when it was announced but now I'm at the point of being tired of watching videos and wanting to actually play the game.

Wow, exact feeling for that game as well. I think the devs are releasing information on their games way too early these days.
