Those are pretty obvious facts, here are another ones that are more obscure and maybe you all know:
- Lions are affected by catnip (Nepeta) effects, unlike tigers.
- Despite being seen as top predators, 50% of the lion's diet is carrion. Even Hyenas hunt their prey more frequently.
- Only females hunt the food, male lions are lazy bums.
- Okapis are the only extant relative of the giraffes.
- Much like the Gorilla and the Coelacant, it was considered a cryptid until recent times. I just hope the "Nandi bear" turns out to be real too, and see if it's a Chalicothere or a giant Hyena.
