Because we don't have a culture of letting people study what they want to study and that doesn't only apply to engineers, but doctors and lawyers as well. It's such a shame that our ancestors fought for education to become universal and available for everyone, and yet we continue to forbid children from becoming what they desire to be because their ideas don't match with ours. 2) We have talented people, but they leave the country. Corruption, lack of culture towards education and the good treatment of people completely discourages people from staying in a country that clearly never gives them a chance. How is it possible that we have people who didn't even finish middle school occupying government positions? (This is real) How the hell does it ever makes sense that corrupt politicians have stolen funds from several states, put all their money in the offshore and then just leave the country like nothing ever happened? tl:dr What Mexico needs aren't more engineers. Mexico needs more people who want to work and want to do their job right, and that does't only go to engineers, that goes for any professional. In america both sides of the aisle are corrupt enough to make a sith lord blush. The problem is the parties dont clean up because the common voter covers for the assholes. You see this a lot here on face punch. When told corruption is why clinton lost, they begin to make exscuses. It the same on the GOP side too. In short what going on here is the common voter is covering for crooks and assholes. Tools are enabling bad leadership and behavior If the common voter that are enabling and rewarding the crooks and assholes with political office were to vanish, the crooks and assholes would not be in power. The assholes without supporters and followers would no longer have the ability to make life miserable for the rest of us. So like George Carlin says, it not the politicians who suck. Its the people. Get rid of the sucky people would make the sucky leadership go away. So what I did is went on a little intellectual journey to figure out why folks cover for assholes when they are corrupt as hell. The end conclusion surprised me. The reason people cover for assholes and the reason corruption exist is also a reason for whole other host of serious issues. Such as bigotry, war, genocide, poverty, income inequality, discrimination yada yada yada. Its because america is suffering from narcissism. Now I grew up with some folks who I suspect have narcissistic personality disorder. Guess what gave them that? That right! Someone abused the ever living shit out them when they were children! Look up narcissistic personality disorder. Now compare the behavior say a Nazi. Well what does a narcissistic person do? They avoid real problems. They tear others down to make themselves look better. They always blame others for their failures. Scapegoating. The claim to be bigger then life. I know god. I am rich look at me (trump reference) I believe in political correctness! They are never ever wrong. They never ever question authority. What does a Nazi do? Same shit. Nazis are bigots. What does the left do? Same shit! Well that changes the dictomony from left vs right to abusive shithead to non abusive shithead. What made these folks abusive? Something abused them. The ideas both left and right are designed on purpose to destroy people psychologically to create obedient, over zealous non questioning jackasses. The cure for corruption in america is thus get rid of any idea that is designed as such and make life miserable who demonstrates abusive personality traits. Why? If they did not exist, war would not exist. Poverty would not exist. Inequality of all types would not exist. Discrimination against against gays, people of color, and who have you would not exist. Crime would not exist. Corruption would not exist. The state would cease to exist. The very instrument of oppression (the state) would cease to exist if all abusive personalities and the ideas which excuse their behavior were to cease to exist. Help people become emotionally stable again (after getting rid of all assholes first) and everything would be golden. That the american side of the issue. You are talking about Mexico. The root cause is different. There is this book titled "time paradox" Philip zimbardo. One reason Mexico is rife with issues is a matter of time perspective orientation. The reason European nations and cultural offspring are successful is due to their view on time. This is a result of having four seasons. You see if a person live in a climate where winter is a regular thing, they have to plan ahead for the hardships winter brings. If they dont they die off. This creates a culture being future oriented. Which leads to less corruption. Mexico is closer to the equator. Warmer the climate, the less future oriented a culture gets. Which means more corruption and violence. The other reason is Catholicism. Catholic nations are more present orientated. America is a Protestant nation which is more future oriented. So you going get the problems related to being a present oriented culture. You should pick up the book great read. If you wanna help Mexico, best advice would be do the following: Conquer your psychological demons. Once you learn how to do that teach others how to do so. This creates a chain effect that eventually everyone becomes sane and thus assholes can't manipulate folks any more. Read up on time perspective. Wonderful subject. As for career? No idea. That on you? For me the best way to help america is philosophy and create ideas that transcend left vs right. Create alternative views on discrimination and how to end it. That way vulnerable folks who wanna get away from the left and Democratic party can have more choices for an identity. As for Mexican not being creative? Not true.

Length isn't really important as to whether a long post is readable but composition more is. That post is just a pain to read, if it was on a good blog for example different formatting and whatnot would be used. Good thing Garry took away most of the forums formatting tools!

It's not the lenght of the post that matters, it's how you use it.

For mexico, its due to being closer to the equator. The book "the time paradox" by Philip zimbardo explains this. Catholicism has a hand in it too due to encouraging a present time orientation even further. I post on FP reg to get better with my writing. I know my writing is shit so I am trying to improve myself. Ive notice the more I interact with folks online with better writing skills then I, I subconsciously absorb their writing style. I also do it to get better to express my self. If I can express an idea Ive made up a few months ago and able to persuade people to take up my position, I know I am improving as a person. Its also why I take up unpopular opinions and for same reason. The basis of my idea is simple. The world sucks because of there being too many asshole. Nazism and racism is just one flavor of asshole. Getting rid of one style of asshole is not enough. Why? Cause when assholes are allowed to exist, they abuse others. When people are the abused, it creates a process where they eventually become an asshole too. Which eventually leads to society being filled with assholes. No bueano. So it not enough to get rid of assholes on the right, but there is a need to get rid of assholes on the left too. Other wise racism will just keep resurfacing. That not good.
