Donald Trump has been accused of "slut shaming" US senator Kirsten Gillibrand, who called for the President to resign over accusations of sexual harassment and misconduct against him. Mr Trump lambasted Senator Gillibrand on Twitter overnight, writing: "Lightweight Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, a total flunky for Chuck Schumer and someone who would come to my office 'begging' for campaign contributions not so long ago (and would do anything for them), is now in the ring fighting against Trump." Senator Schumer is the Senate Democratic leader. Senator Gillibrand, whose name has been floated as a possible Democratic presidential candidate in 2020, said she would not back down. In a tweet, she said Mr Trump had brought shame to the presidency. She told a media conference: "It was a sexist smear attempting to silence my voice, and I will not be silenced on this issue." At a White House event later on, Mr Trump did not answer a reporter's question when asked what he meant by the tweet. Other Democratic lawmakers rallied behind Senator Gillibrand, including Senator Elizabeth Warren, another possible 2020 presidential candidate. In a tweet directed at Mr Trump, Senator Warren wrote: "Are you really trying to bully, intimidate and slut-shame @SenGillibrand? Do you know who you're picking a fight with? Good luck with that, @realDonaldTrump. Nevertheless, #shepersisted." Senator Gillibrand said yesterday that Mr Trump should resign because there were credible accusations against him. Barring that, she said: "Congress should investigate the multiple sexual harassment and assault allegations against him."
http://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-12-13/trump-says-allegations-of-sexual-harassment-fabricated/9253478
Another day in Trumpistan, sadly.
Trump is sick little cretin.
Lets be real here Trump 1. You complain about how hard it is 2. You have a higher golf spree than the president you criticized for playing golf 3. You can't even get basic shit done 4. Your entire company is based around owning others property and crediting it to you, so its not like you're some messiah at that 5. You have no political experiance 6. Your entire gimmick was to be as anti-establishment as possible yet you've been the most establishment president possible 7. Even your own party thinks you are a joke. Your own administration doesn't trust you. Yes you should quit, it's not the right job for you
That tweet is disgusting.
I honestly don't see where the hell the accusation of Trump calling Gillibrand a slut comes from in that tweet, which makes me wonder why the hell Warren is even bringing slut-shaming up, unless she knows more about her colleague than the public knows.

Do you really not see it?

Also keep in mind that Trump's tweet is in the context of Trump being accused of sexual harassment. Even if Trump genuinely didn't mean to imply those things, it was a terribly worded tweet that implied exactly those things. It's not hard to realise how it can be seen as 'slut-shaming'. The saddest thing here is that you seem to be doing exactly what Trump did, with the claim of Warren knowing 'things' about her. Way to go.

If this is being framed as 'slut-shaming' rather than 'defamation' then that seems to implicitly accept that she was soliciting campaign support in that way, which quite frankly I'm not sure if I'd be okay with. Either way, at this point Trump has about as much credibility as the boy who cried wolf.

Dude, I know you're a die hard apologist, but this shit just comes off like you tried to ignore the things he said. What the fuck am I saying, that's what you've been doing for a year

What one is it?

What one is it?
The narrative I've seeing being pushed by other Trump supporters is that he "baited" Warren into calling it slut-shaming which lets them double down on the accusation that it was about sexual favors for campaign contributions.
Ehhhhh maybe 'slut shaming' isn't the best term. Trump is being a disgusting, lecherous prick by implying that a woman was desperate to the extent would have performed sexual favours for him. It's definitely sexist and massively inappropriate- but "slut shaming" refers to a very particular kind of sexism, stigmatising genuine female promiscuity, that I can't really see here.
Trump is being a disgusting, lecherous prick by implying that a woman was desperate to the extent would have performed sexual favours for him. .
every day I wonder more and more how hard ol' Bill is reflecting over the shitstorm he went through over a bj that one time
I don't know... This is weird. Trump is definitely implying it, but calling it 'slut-shaming' seems to accept the premise that she did behave sexually.
I think the USED part is more what Warren was getting at. [editline]12th December 2017[/editline] I wish we had a president that made more sense than a magic 8 ball

"Trump didn't call her a slut, that sounds like the kind of thing a slut would say."

Dude.

The editorial board of USA Today has published a fUcKiNg SaVaGe article eviscerating Trump for this, TLDR it puts forth the notion that he's a total cunt who shouldn't be president https://www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/2017/12/12/trump-lows-ever-hit-rock-bottom-editorials-debates/945947001/
With his latest tweet, clearly implying that a United States senator would trade sexual favors for campaign cash, President Trump has shown he is not fit for office. Rock bottom is no impediment for a president who can always find room for a new low.

A president who would all but call Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand a whore is not fit to clean the toilets in the Barack Obama Presidential Library or to shine the shoes of George W. Bush. This isn’t about the policy differences we have with all presidents or our disappointment in some of their decisions. Obama and Bush both failed in many ways. They broke promises and told untruths, but the basic decency of each man was never in doubt. Donald Trump, the man, on the other hand, is uniquely awful. His sickening behavior is corrosive to the enterprise of a shared governance based on common values and the consent of the governed.
Trump is a disgusting shitsmear on society. Get this immense cunt out of the white house already.
Why do people still like this man
Why do people still like this man
Because he tells it like it is!! :^) He's not mean, he's just brutally honest!!! What a champion!
Why do people still like this man
Radicals needed a stable platform to latch onto and the GOP was desperate for a win.
