Cool I got an ATI graphics card, thats good I guess...
I was a bit sad when the update was 400 MB and this turned out to be the update, which looks boring at first glance. [release]Increased weapon array size for modders to add weapons to store[/release] Until I saw this. This has great potential. The only time I've ever seen a modded weapon was a few lead pipes lying around a custom map, which were awesome. I hope this is taken advantage of immediately.
Ok, that's pretty cool, not major, but can't say no to SDK stuff.
Oh man I can't wait to see what people make.
i would take advantage of that, except I'm super bad with the unreal engine.
[release]Increased weapon array size for modders to add weapons to store[/release]
Yes! Why can't more games have this?
[release]Increased weapon array size for modders to add weapons to store[/release] Can someone explain to me what this means exactly?
Yes! Why can't more games have this?
I guess a lot of developers are just afraid of things like this. I remember when Command & Conquer Renegade (FPS) had huge mod compatibility, allowing servers to add custom weapons, new vehicles (including helicopters), new classes, and more. Such compatibility in multiplayer games is awesome. I wish Valve would do this for Alien Swarm.
i would take advantage of that, except I'm super bad with the unreal engine.
You might as well try.
[release]Increased weapon array size for modders to add weapons to store[/release] Can someone explain to me what this means exactly?
There are more weapon slots available in the store for people to add in custom weapons too
annnnnnnd the classes are still ridiculously unbalanced
Potential fix for performance issues on ATI graphics cards
:D And then happiness.
I don't remember having any performance issues and I use ATI.
I don't remember having any performance issues and I use ATI.
I've had to fight invisible specimen hordes, just by shadows, because they didn't render. Fun times.
I'd like someone to port over the old UT2k4 models for weapons n such
I still got the issue where the text is invisible :(
annnnnnnd the classes are still ridiculously unbalanced
I don't see how they're unbalanced, they all fill different rolls.
