I can record anything outside of a game, but when im in a game like gmod or css it lags like crazy. My comp is one year old now and i have a good graphics card. Dunno what to do.

lowering the ingame fps helps in most cases

I've tried it with multiple hard drives and it doesn't change anything.
Can you give us exact specs?
Devoting a thread or two to FRAPS usually works perfect for me.
Try WeGame, supposedly they sacrifice quality for for decent FPS, but I dunno honestly.
Tell me if you get any results, I get horrible FPS with FRAPS running and my computer is fairly new =/.
I get no fps drop when I start recording with fraps :pcgaming:
