According to 'dxdiag' my DirectX level is 10, but i still have to use 'dxlevel8' in launch options for Gmod to run without crashing. It's no big problem, the graphics are what they usually are, but does that mean my laptop isn't running at it's best? Can someone please tell me if theres a way to make it run at it's best. If you want a snapshot just ask.
The GPU runs at dx 8 at the hardware level you just have version 10 installed because 8 sucks. More or less I can't really explain it right now but, I can say for sure that your gpu only supports dx8 and below.
