Coffee break reading from the Village Voice Empire: August 18 is not Bobby Miller's lucky day: In 1992 he allegedly killed a woman in a home invasion, and in 2011 he was arrested for it. Police got new fingerprint evidence and tracked him down liiving in Las vegas under an assumed name

Good to see justice finally catching up, even if it's 19 years later.
Well his freedom is now over
What the hell, I know a guy named Bobby Miller
obnoxious twat
I don't know what to think. How do you suddenly 'develop' fingerprint evidence years later?
Unless they mean they got fingerprints at the crime scene but had no suspects to match them against. Then years later this guy gets arrested somewhere that puts their prints in a national database. Then one day someone decides to run a comparison of old case fingerprints against the national database.
Wow, that's a case almost as old as myself, finally apparently coming to conclussion.

Could've been on a cup or something they were able to keep as evidence.
well, better late than never
It's nice to see that investigators do not just 'give up' on cases and let them slide by.

He must have left behind the paranoia of being arrested years ago

Dag nabit Bobby
Alright, now. About that fellow Jack the Ripper...
Great to see that the age old "What goes around comes around" is still in effect.
Everyone gets theirs eventually, it may take 5 minutes or in this case, 19 years. But it does eventually come.
That boy just ain't right...

Didn't they sort of find out who that was, but by the time they did he had died of natural causes?
damn i was only 7 days old
I thought it was legal to kill someone who invades your home? Or did he invade her home and kill her?
I'm not sure how I feel about this. Can 19 year old evidence really be considered particularly reliable?
Well his freedom is now over
I thought there was some thing where after 9 years the charges are dropped or some shit? Or is that something else.

Yea, I would of 9 years ago.

Doesn't seem so.

I think if it was his home it'd be a bit obvious who did it ..
I'd imagine charges would be dropped after they've died.
