I need a laptop that runs CoD:WaW at highest settings and preferably cheap.
but it must be under or around $1,000.

if not then there is an alienware for $800 (probably more with custom features)

So, can I kill japs on highest setting for one of these computers?
Do you already have a gaming desktop? Because it would be better to get a desktop instead if you don't have one. Also, go with ASUS laptops--I hear they are good.
i dont want a desktop, i need mobility
so I can run it, yes/no?
Yeah, youre not going to get a good gaming laptop. Gaming and laptops dont go together.
1000$ isn't gonna cut it.
You can run World at War on a $1000 laptop, but probably on medium if on full resolution.
Spending $1000 on a laptop just to play games like COD is a bit impractical if you asked me. But hey, it's your money.

I didn't ask you about your opinion on CoD, answer my questions or don't post...
My computer runs all of the COD series perfectly and maxed out. It's custom built but everything put together costs $500, but Laptops seem to cost more so it might be $700 or so.
I'm almost positive I can run CoD on high on the alienware.
I've seen $800 dollar laptops run decently, so I'm sure that $1000 dollar laptop would do good
so yes/no? nobody has answered that clearly enough
Get the sony Vaio F series and customize it to have an Nvidia 330M and it has an i7, total cost comes in at about $1250 and my friend gets around 300fps on valve games on highs. So save up that extra 250.
holy jesus
I only need like 80 fps on a source game as long as I get good frames in CoD
Hold on a sec I'll find you a nice ASUS.

If you insist on getting a laptop: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220696
You will be disappointed in a couple years though. Any laptop will lack its luster in 2 years actually (unless it is like a $3000 or something, you get an extra year :downs:).
