Hello there. I'm trying to use this radeon 7500 on this old PC of mine, but it screws up on ANY OPENGL GAME. I got the correct drivers btw. It's like,i'm there, playing, then all of sudden, the screen goes black and the monitor goes all like " Damn, you just pressed the sleep button. Your pc is sleeping. I feel tired. Bye. " Could anyone please help me? And no,I do not plan on buying another graphics card for this PC. Please,do not post things like " omfg get a better card lol. " . Thank you for your attention. EDIT: Halo works fine. It uses D3D. That proves that the problem is with OpenGL. [editline]08:19PM[/editline] Someone please help me.
You could try installing different drivers, maybe you can try Omega Drivers.
Man,I tried. The problem is with OPENGL. Somehow,my card screws up when I attempt to run any sort of opengl app.
I tried omega drivers again. But now, whenever I try to play an opengl game, let's say, half life,it sez something about the pc not being able to use opengl, and that it's swapping to software mode. Other opengl games just crash, which is way cooler. Help. Did I mention it's an all-in-wonder radeon 7500? Idk,that could screw something up. HELP PLEASE. Oh yeah,by the way,I remember that this is somehow involved with the VPU. Before I installed the omega drivers,I activated VPU recover. I,then, tried playing master sword continued ( a hl mod that NEEDS opengl to run. ) . The result? it crashed,it somehow got back to desktop, but the image was all garbled. Please help me!

Have you tried formatting?
Actually,I did in the past. Did not work.
PSU? I had the same propblem due to a shitty one.
Are you sure the 7500 is capable of running the required OpenGL version? I know even my crappy old ATI Rage M3 can run Half Life, but it might be the case. Or it could be the OS you're using?
Windows XP,my PSU works fine ( i cant see how it could affect OPENGL. ) and yes,the all in wonder 7500 radeon is capable of running opengl apps.
