Operating system: Windows XP Home Edition
System specs: Asus P5K mainboard, Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 processor, Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTS 512 graphics card, 3GB DDR2-SDram memory, power supply and hard disk work fine and have worked before.
I'm thinking my graphics card died, but I just wanted to make sure because it happened so suddenly and my card has made no previous signs of dying.
Thats a very common symptom of failure, if you have a integrated card you could try that to make sure if its isolated to the card.

I have no integrated card, if I remember right. Besides, I've had the card for some years now and as I said, it has shown no previous problems with anything.
EDIT: Ok I checked the card from device manager, says that "This device cannot start. (Code 10)".
Holy crap, your 8800GTS still works. My 8800GT died within 6 months.
