I remember the first time I seen a plasma TV, It massive (to me at the time) 48 inch with a giant sub-woofer at the back of it, the heat the came off the screen could heat the room.
I hope plasma doesn't die completely, it's a good technology.
Plasma TVs get so hot, it's free heating for your home. Also there is pretty much 0 movement delay on high resolutions which is very noticeable in gaming if you're using an HD LCD TV. [editline]3rd July 2014[/editline] I don't mind businesses moving out of the sector but I hope it doesn't die off completely, like CRTs, because they're have a number of advantages over LCD
free heating?
yes well except for the energy costs to actually run the TV for long enough for it to start heating the surroundings but whatever fuck you

They know the future is SSD's and OLED.

Pioneer master race

My Plasma has always gave me a stunning image and its a couple of years old already passed its expectancy
OLED is rumored to have the awesome black levels and picture quality Plasma has always given without the huge power consumption and the holy shit brightness of a normal LED/LCD panel. I really hope OLED can fix the motion and response time issue that LED has always had too.
