I have the Dell XPS 15 L502x, it's a pretty decent gaming laptop and I'm looking to install an SSD. I'm considering removing the DVD-Drive, putting the current 250GB SATA in it's place and then placing an SSD where the SATA was.
The SSD I have in mind is the [url=http://www.ebuyer.com/268244-ocz-120gb-agility-3-ssd-agt3-25sat3-120g-agt3-25sat3-120g]OCZ 120GB Agility 3[/url]. I was also going to replace the 250GB with a 500GB drive but with the increased prices it's not really worth it.
Should I go for that SSD? I've heard some bad things about OCZ's SSDs in the past but it has plenty of good reviews on ebuyer.com. Let me know any other recommendations.

I ordered that SSD, it'll arrive in a couple of hours / maybe tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes.
Personally I'd go with Intel/Kingston/Corsair, since they're the most reliable (in that order).
Currently using a 120GB Intel SSD in my laptop, and a 240 GB Corsair SSD in my desktop, and they work wonderfully.

Intel's are definitely reliable, but I would put Crucial and Samsung above Corsair and Kingston drives. You having a good experience does not automatically make them the most reliable drives. Samsung's in house controller is [url=http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/tests-ssd-review-solid-state,3103-9.html]very reliable and very fast[/url] and it has no trouble beating sandforce drives in tests. Crucial's Marvell based drives are more reliable that Sandforce ones and they don't [url=http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/tests-ssd-review-solid-state,3103-7.html] suffer from huge performance hits with incompressible data[/url]

Hence why I'm rather leery of OCZ drives.
There was a big problem with the OCZ drives due to certain firmwares causing issues. I've checked around and they seem to work a lot better with a specific firmware which has been recommend by OCZ staff on their forum.
Although I've had another look and I'm now considering the Samsung 830 Series which garrynohome mentioned:

I'm actually looking into the 830 myself. TomsHardware says it's a great drive.
