Also, garry, if VAC starts handing out bans for a non-cheating module as a mistake, will they be undone? Or are there certain parameters set for detecting ones which actually do cheat?

Excellent timing Garry, just a few days ago there was this asshole using BaconBot in my favorite TTT server and I was thinking "I wish Gmod had VAC enabled". Idiot will probably get what he deserved now :v:

Steam has a policy not to do anything about VAC bans.

What about gm tower,as that uses a DLL Module,same with Musex,Addonismo and shittons of other things. Has it got some sort of insanely good recognition engine because if not then people will get accidently banned.. For example lets think baconbot,maybe VAC scans that DLL and finds a nasty command,yet Addonismo uses that same injection/command/chuck norris to do something completely legit,like change the addons it loads. Will that simply not happen or could it be possible?

New people get banned, some don't New version of cheat gets released repeat it's basically what happens. You can't ban everyone, but you can ban a part of them. It might even lead to less customers for them, meaning less hackers.
