Traveling Wilburys (Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Roy Orbison, Jeff Lynne, and Tom Petty)

Right.
I have just come across a band that existed for 3 years consisting of Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Roy Orbison, Jeff Lynne, and Tom Petty.
At first I thought I was going crazy because surely there wouldn't be a band with Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Roy Orbison, Jeff Lynne, AND Tom Petty, but there was.
And I am staggered that they were actually popular and made great music.

I'm off to give this album a listen. Enjoy the song.
Rare to see a supergroup like this to make an actual great album. :smug:

Not really, but this group is awesome. Thank you for this, I had somehow never heard of them.
Whenever I jam with friends I always ensure End of the Line is something we play. Good band, good thread :)
Yes.
Great band, best supergroup. George and Roy are both heroes of mine.
It was through The Wilburys that I got into The Beatles and Harrison's solo career, actually.
I want End of The Line to be played at my funeral.

The CD set is awesome, by the way. Both albums and a DVD of the videos and a documentary.

Thanks for not recommending one :frog:
These guys fucking rule! My dad had a cd when we were little and I used to play it all the time. Great shit!
Handle with Care is my all time favorite by them.
Sad that Roy Orbison died the year The Wilburys got together. :saddowns:
Must have been horrible for them.

Well, I dont think The Firm are comparible to the Wilburys, but not bad.
Wow, great songs! Can't believe I have never heard of this before, thank you!
Every song on the album is just great. Its like they're collaberating like brothers.
I recommend you all get that album on vinyl. Even if you don't have a player, the artwork on the sleeves is just amazing :smug:
My... well my dads old one is broken wich sucks cause we have alot of good old swedish vinyl records to play! I've never been that much into buying albums though.
I had a bucket load of money from a job I had, didn't know what to spend it on.
Bought a few of my favourite vinyls. And I was away.
Worth it.
