I'll pay any amount to see commander keen remastered.
Skyrim
Mobile Forces and Nox are ones I'd definitely pay for.
Deus Ex Keep the old voice acting though :v:
fallout 1 & 2 but in 3d
fallout 1 & 2 but in 3d
3d, but keep the over the top angle. Isometric but rotatable. [editline]27th January 2018[/editline] If you keep the turn based mechanics.
Super Metroid, just to see how it turns out. Also Starsiege.
Colony Wars PSX series
Skyrim
Don't you mean Morrowind?
Remade -> Remake, everything is new and up to date Remastered -> Making it work on modern systems, higher resolution, etc. Big differences, PCGamer.
Idk, which article would you like remade/remastered PCGamer? Cause this looks familiar.
Fallout 1, Fallout 2 + Fallout 4's engine = Mrrr. We're already getting this with 3 and NV, I'd love to see 1 and 2 get the same treatment. [editline]27th January 2018[/editline] If you keep the turn based mechanics.
Going first person and real-time combat was the single best thing to happen to the Fallout series since SPECIAL. The best remaster one could do with FO1 and FO2 would be to port them to 4's engine, just as is happening with Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas right now. Those two games were isometric and turn-based because that's the only way computers of 1998 could handle a game with that much content. This is 2018. We have computers that can render that gameworld first person now. Literally no reason to cling to the old and terrible gameplay mechanics when we can do so much better. None of Fallout 4's problems stem from the engine, in fact FO4's engine is probably the best engine Bethesda has ever published a game on, and none of them would transfer over to a FO1 or FO2 remaster made using it. All the proof you need is, again, visible with the conversions already in progress for 3 and NV.
Spyro 1, 2 and 3. [t]http://i.imgur.com/liSEcGy.jpg[/t] Having them remade and on PC would be amazing.
The original Descent trilogy.
I gotta go with Phantom Crash. I drowned endless hours into that game.
i tried to think of one but the only one i could think of is pathologic although that's already got a remaster and there's also a remake in the works anyway maybe eastern mind: the lost souls of tong-nou, although i know a couple people who are trying to get that to run natively on windows 10 x64 right now, but an official re-release on steam would be nice chu-teng never got an official english release so that'd also be nice
fallout 1 & 2 but in 3d
i second this -- fallout 1 and 2 were great but new vegas felt way better because it felt more personal as a result of the first person perspective
The old discworld point and clicks does the first one even exist outside of floppy disks?
I'd love to see a remake an update kinda thing of GTA2. That game had a super cool style and really cool cities, but going back to that top down tank control stuff is really hard. I'd love to play that game with more modern dual joystick style controls (of course the enemy AI and stuff would have to be updated to not then be trivially easy to deal with then).
It would be great if they could make a jagged alliance remake that is not terrible
Resident evil outbreak File 1 and 2 with working online play through steam.
I would love a remastered Soul Calibur 3 ahead of SC6's release. That game has some beautiful stages, and I would love to see it in HD.
freelancer no game i've ever played since then has been able to capture the feel of exploring dark, foggy nebulas and shit far off in remote space, not knowing what you're gonna encounter or find god, the exploration in that game was so nice i love x3, but one of the biggest disappointments about it for me is once you enter a system you literally see everything any space game that can capture that same exploration feel would be amazing
Saints Row and Saints Row 2. I like the direction they went with, but these two were unique on their own.
Final Fantasy 1 but remade as a 3D RPG adventure instead of sprites
Honestly just everything to work on semi-modern x86, regardless of platform really. If it works there, it can be easily archived and probably easier played. And not a fully modern platform like Windows 10 with DX12, since that wouldn't be portable enough.
star wars battlefront 2
Sid Meiers SimGolf. Even though there is Bossgolf which is a spiritual successor currently in development but I don't like the graphical style of it. If someone made a Simgolf style game with randomly generated terrain and has a terrain sculpting and landscaping system like Cities:Skylines. Luckily Theme Hospital remake is on the way. Can't remember the name of it though.
Either Blinx The Cat 1&2 or the Metroid Prime Series.
